Cheryl Nietupski- Registered Massage Therapist
Cheryl is a 2011 graduate of the Northern Institute of Massage Therapy 2200 hour program. Over the past 15 years she has developed a strong clinical foundation shaped by seven years of close collaboration with Dr. Roger Jones at Brentwood Chiropractic Clinic.
Working in a chiropractic setting enabled her to treat athletes recovering from injuries and bring relief to all of the clientele she was able to work with. This has allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the unique needs of the individual, biomechanics, compensation patterns and the root causes behind recurring pain.
Her approach focuses on trigger point therapy, fascial release (with or without cupping), corrective treatment (including lensen techniques), somatic awareness and assisted stretching. She has found this to be especially effective for clients seeking long term improvement rather than temporary relief.
Alongside her clinical training, Cheryl brings an intuitive energy aware presence into her work. This allows her to listen to the body on multiple levels and tailor each treatment to the clients current needs and level of tolerance. She supports the body's ability to regulate, balance and integrate the session for deep relief and alignment shifts.
Cheryl is known for educating her clients; helping them understand how their body works, why certain patterns persist and what supports meaningful changes between sessions.
