Massage Therapy refers to a comprehensive health management strategy focusing on the application of various techniques to positively affect the soft tissues and joints of the body.  Massage is as an important therapy that complements medical treatment. Massage can decrease pain, improve range of motion, improve mood, aid in the circulation of blood and lymph flow, reduce muscle and joint soreness, and improve sleep.

 

Ally Langford, RMT (2200 hours) Accepts new clients

Ally is an associate registered massage therapist at IMT. She has been practicing massage for over 5 years and is a member in good standing with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada. Ally offers all therapeutic massage services including myofascial cupping. 

 Amanda Tarr, RMT (2200 hours) Accepts new clients

Amanda is an associate registered massage therapist at IMT. She is a graduate of the Northern Institute of Massage Therapy and has post secondary education with the College of Kinesiology at the University of Regina.  She specializes in orthopedic and  pre-natal massage but is available for all forms of treatment. 

Michelle Smith, BScKin, CEP, RMT (2200 hours) Not accepting new clients.

Michelle has her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, is a CSEP-Certified Exercise Physiologist, Exercise is Medicine Level-2 Professional, Medical Exercise Specialist and a Certified LENSEN™ Therapist  as well as being a Registered Massage Therapist.  Michelle specializes in post operative orthopedics and high performance athlete care but is available for all forms of treatment. She believes in applying holistic health principles to support each client and uses a scientific and compassionate approach with each assessment and treatment.
