Auriculotherapy without Needles

This course bridges Acupressure into your manual therapy treatment. Eastern medicine shows the ear is a microsystem of the entire body. For thousands of years auriculotherapy (ear acupressure) has been very effectively used to benefit a variety of common disorders. The Auriculotherapy course will introduce tools of auriculotherapy with emphasis on the practical application for musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction and incorporating this into a typical manual therapy treatment.

This course will be reserved to methods for effective stimulation without the use of needles or puncturing of the skin. We will cover different methods of assessment and employ techniques for treatment including acupressure with use of multiple tools, use of plasters with traditional seeds, selection of appropriate treatment beads and the traditional ear massage techniques.
