Cupping Massage

Cupping Massage brings the ancient art of cupping to the modern day practice. This modality allows for a unique approach to the fascia and body fluids. Cupping has an ability to affect deeper tissue, remove fascial restrictions, and increase range of motion, with little stress on your hands. This modality takes only one day to learn and you will walk away with a whole new technique to add to your skills.

Cupping goes far beyond simple fascial techniques, concepts such as angiogenesis, metabolism and immune response will be explored. Cupping is put into context within the global environment, with discussions and demonstrations providing understanding of the affects cupping has on the whole body. During the practical component the theory will be put into practice, along with discussion and demonstrations of the physiological changes that take place. Application will cover more than just the back; scars, fascia, joints, trigger points, muscle imbalances and even pleura techniques will be applied.
Note: Health professionals require training and certification to be covered within liability insurance. Traditional cupping (fire cupping) is restricted to Acupuncturists and TCM practitioners.
